  3. Add Dry Ingredients – Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until just combined.
  4. Layer Batter – Spoon batter evenly over melted butter without stirring.
  5. Add Brown Sugar – Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the batter.
  6. Pour Hot Water – Gently pour hot water over the top (do not stir).
