Description

This Triple Chocolate Turtle Fudge is a decadent dessert featuring rich layers of chocolate, smooth caramel, and crunchy pecans. Perfect for the holidays, special occasions, or whenever you want to indulge in a sweet treat. Easy to make and completely irresistible, this fudge will satisfy any chocolate lover’s cravings.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans, divided

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semisweet and dark chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted (about 2-3 minutes total).
  3. Add Flavor: Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until fully combined.
  4. Layer the Fudge: Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Add Caramel and Pecans: Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate layer and sprinkle with half of the chopped pecans.
  6. Top and Refrigerate: Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over the caramel and pecans, spreading it to cover. Top with the remaining pecans and drizzle extra caramel over the top if desired.
  7. Set and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • If you prefer a nut-free version, replace the pecans with crispy rice or sunflower seeds.
  • For a salted caramel twist, use salted caramel sauce and top with a sprinkle of sea salt.
  • For an extra chocolate flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the melted chocolate mixture.
