Description

A delicious fusion of tacos and spaghetti, this dish features a zesty beef sauce with all your favorite taco toppings!


Ingredients

8 ounces spaghetti

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground beef

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 packet taco seasoning

1/2 cup water

1 cup salsa

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the onion and garlic to the skillet, and sauté until the onion is soft, about 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and water, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the salsa and cooked spaghetti to the skillet, stirring well to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
