Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (45 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (170 g) white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (200 g) M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and M&Ms.
  6. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
