Description

A decadent dessert that layers creamy cheesecake filling, buttery pecan pie goodness, and a crisp crust, creating a show-stopping treat that's perfect for holidays or any special occasion.

Ingredients

1 package of no-bake lasagna noodles

1 cup heavy cream

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup corn syrup

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups whipped topping

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the no-bake lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then set them aside to cool.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in the whipped topping and mix until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Stir and let the mixture simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the sugar to dissolve and the mixture to thicken.
  4. Add the chopped pecans to the saucepan and stir to coat them with the syrup mixture. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  5. To assemble the lasagna, spread a thin layer of the cheesecake mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish. Top with a layer of lasagna noodles, then spread a layer of the pecan mixture on top.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining cheesecake mixture on top.
  7. Cover the lasagna with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle with chocolate chips, if desired, for an extra touch of indulgence.

Notes

  • To save time, you can prepare the cheesecake mixture and pecan layer ahead of time.
  • Ensure to refrigerate the dessert for the recommended time to allow proper setting and flavor infusion.
  • The dessert can be customized with additional toppings like caramel drizzle or extra pecans.
