Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in the Nutella, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
