Ingredients

1 (15 oz) can of peaches, drained and juice reserved

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9x9-inch baking dish, pour the melted butter.

  4. Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish, but do not stir.
  5. Spoon the drained peaches evenly over the batter.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Optional: You can use fresh peaches if desired, but ensure they are peeled and sliced.
