Description

Crispy, seasoned fries topped with gooey cheese and flavorful toppings


Ingredients

4 medium potatoes

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon salsa

1 tablespoon chopped green onions

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin fries.
  3. Place the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the fries, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Once baked, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  7. Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and drizzle with sour cream and salsa.
  9. Top with chopped green onions, cilantro, and a pinch of salt.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
