Crispy, seasoned fries topped with gooey cheese and flavorful toppings
Ingredients
4 medium potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon taco seasoning
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon salsa
1 tablespoon chopped green onions
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin fries.
- Place the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the fries, making sure they are well coated.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Once baked, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Return to the oven for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with sour cream and salsa.
- Top with chopped green onions, cilantro, and a pinch of salt.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
- You can adjust the taco seasoning to your taste preference.
