Ingredients
1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
2 large eggs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan or lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, beat the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
