This healthy buffalo chicken dip is a lighter twist on the classic appetizer, delivering bold buffalo flavor and a creamy texture with a high-protein, low-fat profile. Made with cottage cheese, shredded chicken, and reduced-fat cheese, this guilt-free dip is perfect for parties, game days, or casual snacking.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fat-free cottage cheese
- ½ cup hot sauce
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breast
- ½ cup reduced-fat sharp shredded cheddar
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
- Blend cottage cheese and hot sauce in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the blended mixture with shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, half the blue cheese, and garlic powder.
- Transfer to a greased 8x8 baking dish or 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until warmed through.
- Top with remaining blue cheese and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm.
