Description

Easy Ground Turkey with Potatoes is a quick, budget-friendly one-skillet meal made with lean protein, tender potatoes, and flavorful herbs. Perfect for a healthy, satisfying weeknight dinner or meal prep.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey

34 medium potatoes, diced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup tomato sauce

½ cup water

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried basil

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp onion powder

Instructions

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground turkey until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and oregano. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, heat olive oil. Add diced potatoes and cook for 5–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and starting to soften.

  3. Return turkey to the skillet. Add tomato sauce, water, garlic, oregano, basil, parsley, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Stir to combine.

  4. Cover and let simmer for about 5 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and flavors meld.

  5. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Serve warm as is or over rice or veggies.
