Description

This Baileys Cheesecake is the ultimate indulgent dessert, combining the rich, creamy texture of traditional cheesecake with the smooth, luxurious flavor of Baileys Irish Cream. Perfect for special occasions or a weekend treat, this dessert is a guaranteed hit with its velvety texture and boozy twist. Serve it chilled for the best experience, and customize with toppings like whipped cream or fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream (or more to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Stir in the sour cream and Baileys Irish Cream until well combined.
  • Pour the batter over the prepared crust and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned.
  • Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to set.
  • Once chilled, slice and serve. Optional: garnish with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • Ensure the cheesecake is fully chilled before serving for the best texture.
  • For a chocolate twist, add 1/2 cup of cocoa powder to the batter.
  • Toppings like fresh berries, chocolate ganache, or crushed nuts add a nice touch.
