  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook tortellini for one minute less than package instructions. Drain and transfer to a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until smooth and melted.

  5. Mix in half the Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Pour sauce over tortellini in the casserole dish, stirring gently to coat evenly.

  7. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan and mozzarella on top.

  8. Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  9. Optional: Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden-brown top.
